Lee Morris

BSc PGDipLA MA PIEMA CMLI

Lee has over 25 years’ experience in landscape planning and design across many sectors and regions of the UK.  He is a Chartered Landscape Architect, an IEMA Registered Practitioner and an Approved Building with Nature Assessor.

Lee provides landscape advice for projects from inception through to completion, including concept and detailed landscape designs and design guides for planning applications.  He is passionate about integrating sustainable drainage into landscape design, which was the subject of his Masters Thesis.

Lee’s design approach is collaborative, people focused and based around green infrastructure, which creates places for people, overcomes constraints and realises opportunities based on the unique characteristics of each site.  Placemaking is at the heart of his work along with the creative use of green infrastructure to help address the climate and biodiversity emergencies.

Lee has worked on landscape and visual assessments for Environmental Impact Assessments for residential, regeneration, renewable energy, transmission grid, battery storage and mineral extraction.  He regularly acts as expert witness at examination, hearings and public inquiries across the UK, and as a technical expert through the DNS process in Wales.

In his spare time, he is an avid trail runner and mountain biker.
