North Littlehampton, West Sussex
Our Directors have been advising on this site since the site promotion stage in 2008, initially for the landowner, followed by Persimmon Homes Thames Valley. It is a 90-hectare mixed-use strategic regeneration project on brownfield land to the north of Littlehampton in West Sussex. The site is in a sensitive landscape adjacent to the South Downs National Park and the historic setting of the medieval town of Arundel.
The concept masterplan was developed through a hands-on planning approach assisting John Thompson and Partners with extensive public consultation and community planning. The scheme was presented to both the Regional Design Review Panel and the CABE Design Review Panel during the planning stage. Following the outline planning application where a landscape and visual impact assessment, darkness and lighting assessment, and green infrastructure strategy was prepared, we have advised on several phases of reserved matters applications. Tir Collective are currently advising on the Central Wetland and adjacent development phases during the technical design through to implementation.
